Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Wash the meat, dab dry and fry in the pan for 10-12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see
manufacturer). Peel garlic, chop finely and mix with the jam. Grate cheese coarsely.
Spread 1 tablespoon of oil on the casserole dish, place the meat in it. Spread with jam and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a hot oven for 6-8 minutes. Serve with green salad and bread or mashed potatoes.
