  • 2 PrisenSalz
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 500 g Flour
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cocoa
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 4 TSP Gingerbread spice
  • 1 red fruit candy
  • 150 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Protein (size S)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 2 Dominos
  • 7-10 Tbsp blue and silver sugar beads, pink sugar hearts and mixed nuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Spray or freezer bag

Directions

  1. 1

For the dough, put honey, fat, brown sugar and salt in a saucepan and heat over medium heat while stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the ingredients have combined into a mass. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl and let it cool down. Stir eggs into the honey mixture. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and gingerbread spice, sieve into the mixing bowl and knead into the honey mass with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Make 3 templates for gable sides, roof and side walls.

  2. 2

House sides: 15 x 6 cm, roof plates: 20 x 15 cm, gable sides: 19 x 7 x 14 cm. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface 3-4 mm thin. Place templates on top and cut out. Knead dough remains, roll out again and cut out remaining parts of the house. Cut a round and a square window and a door in the front of the house. Finely chop the candy in the universal chopper. Put the dough pieces (including the door) on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes. About 10 minutes before the end of baking, sprinkle some chopped candy into the windows and finish baking. Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl. Add egg white and mix to a thick glaze.

If it is too thick, add some lemon juice. Pour the icing into a piping bag with a small perforated spout or cut it off into a freezer bag and a small corner. First glue the house frame together and let it dry for about 20 minutes, then fix the two roof panels with the icing and let them dry. Cut a chimney from dominoes. Fix the chimney and door with icing as well and decorate the house with icing on the edges, nuts and sugar beads
