Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kitchen-ready
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chicken
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 250 g small onions
  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 2-3 Branches of rosemary
  • 1/2 potty Thyme
  • 5-6 large cloves of garlic
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 250 g small tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen yarn

Directions

  1. 1

Wash the chicken and pat dry. Season inside and outside. Tie the legs together with kitchen string. Put them on the fat pan or in a large roasting pan. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 1 1/4 hours until crispy

  2. 2

Onions peel, possibly halve. Brush the potatoes well or peel and wash them. Depending on size, halve or quarter them. Spread both around the chicken after about 15 minutes, season with salt and pepper

  3. 3

Wash and pluck the herbs. Peel garlic. Chop everything and mix with lemon juice. Wash and halve the tomatoes and add them to the potatoes after about 50 minutes. Spread the garlic and herbs mixture on the chicken and fry until done

  4. 4

If you do not have fresh herbs at hand, you can use 3 teaspoons of dried, e.g. Italian, herbs instead
