Gut the sardines, wash them carefully and drain them on kitchen paper. Wash the lemons, cut one into slices and the other into slices. Peel the onions and cut them into slices as well.
Mix flour and a little salt. Roll the sardines in it. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the lemon slices briefly. Lift them out and put them on a plate. Fry the sardines in portions in the hot oil for five minutes, turning them over, until golden brown.
Arrange on the lemon slices with the raw onion slices. Wash the dill, dab dry and chop coarsely. Sprinkle sardines with dill and garnish with dill flowers. Serve the lemon slices separately with the sardines.
Fresh baguette tastes good with it.
