Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (500g; 14 pieces) frozen sardines
  • 400 g long, thin peppers (fresh, Turkish, not hot)
  • 3 untreated lemons
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 (60 g) bag of pine nuts
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 1 Pot of basil
  • baking paper

Directions

    Defrost the sardines, then cut them slightly several times. Wash the pepperoni. Wash 1 lemon, grate peel, squeeze juice. Peel the garlic and press it through the garlic press. Mix garlic, lemon peel, pine nuts and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Place the sardines and peppers on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

    Drizzle both with olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle sardines with prepared mixture. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 ° C/ gas: level 4) for about 8 minutes. In the meantime, peel the onion and cut into fine slices. Wash the remaining lemons, also cut into slices. Wash the basil and pluck the leaves.
