  • 7-10 Tbsp Slices of lime
  • 7-10 Tbsp and Asian cut-
  • 7-10 Tbsp Garlic

Directions

  1. 1

Remove the shrimps from their shells so that the tail end remains on them. Make a slight incision in the back and pull out the intestines. Wash the prawns and dab them dry with kitchen paper. Peel garlic and onion and chop finely. Chop the chillies

  2. 2

Mix lime juice, sugar and fish sauce or soy sauce in a small bowl. Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the prawns and fry for 4-6 minutes, turning several times. Remove the prawns and set aside

  3. 3

Fry the garlic, onion and chillies in hot frying fat until golden brown, stirring continuously. Deglaze with lime-sugar mixture and bring to the boil. Let the sauce boil down at high heat for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.

  4. 4

Add the prawns to the sauce and heat briefly. Arrange the prawns on a plate. Garnish with slices of lime and chive garlic as desired. Add the rest of the sauce in a small bowl. Basmati or jasmine rice tastes good with it
