Fried potatoes with bacon and onions

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 150 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2 bunch Marjoram
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 150 g Gherkins

Directions

    Wash the potatoes and boil in water for about 20 minutes. Pour off, rinse with cold water and peel, leave to cool. Peel onions, cut into slices. Cut bacon into strips. Cut potatoes into slices.

    Leave bacon in a large pan until crispy. Add onions, fry for about 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. Heat the oil with the bacon fat. Fry potato slices until crispy-brown, turning several times. Wash the marjoram, dab dry, put something aside for garnishing, chop the rest finely. Add bacon, onions and marjoram and fry briefly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cut the cucumbers into slices.
