French toast

Ingredients

  • 12 discs Toast
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 Eggs
  • 75 g Breadcrumbs
  • 3 TABLESPOONS clarified butter

Directions

    Halve the toast slices diagonally into triangles. Put milk in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Beat the eggs. Dip bread first in the milk, then in the eggs, drain.

    Turn in breadcrumbs. Bake in heated clarified butter one after the other on both sides until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve. Serve with béarnaise sauce and mixed cold cuts.
