Ingredients

  • 225 g Flour
  • 50 g Cornstarch
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 150 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g Dark chocolate
  • 10 g Coconut oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange marmalade
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Gold tinsel
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix flour, starch and baking powder, sieve into a mixing bowl. Add butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and salt. Knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Knead the dough on a floured work surface to a smooth dough, wrap in foil, let rest for about 30 minutes. Roll out dough thinly on a floured work surface, cut out approx. 60 stars (4-5 cm Ø).

    Knead the dough again and roll out. Spread the stars on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Cut out half of the stars in the middle with a punched hole or a very small cookie cutter (1-1.5 cm Ø). Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 6-8 minutes. Take out the biscuits and let them cool down. Chop the chocolate and coconut fat and melt over a warm water bath. Dip the tops of the stars that have not been cut out into the chocolate and place them on baking paper. Place the stars with the tips offset on top of the chocolate and allow to set in a cool place. Warm up the orange marmalade, stir until smooth, possibly passing it through a sieve.

    Chop the chocolate and coconut fat and melt over a warm water bath. Dip the tops of the stars that have not been cut out into the chocolate and place them on baking paper. Place the stars with the tips offset on top of the chocolate and allow to set in a cool place. Warm up the orange marmalade, stir until smooth, possibly passing it through a sieve. Pour the jam into the small holes in the biscuits and allow to set. Dust the stars with icing sugar and sprinkle them with gold flakes
