Ingredients

  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 125 g Butter
  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 175 g Flour
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp red food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful sugar and sugar hearts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper
  • 3 Disposable piping bag

Directions

    Separate the egg. Quickly knead butter in pieces, 60 g icing sugar, egg yolk, flour and baking powder to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 1 hour. Roll out to a thickness of approx. 4 mm on a floured work surface. Cut out rabbits of different sizes and shapes. Place on 2-3 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 8 minutes.

    Let them cool down. Stir 190 g icing sugar with egg white until smooth. Divide the icing in thirds and colour two parts pink and pink with food colouring. Pour the icing into three disposable piping bags. Paint rabbits with it. Decorate with coloured sugar and sugar hearts. Leave to dry
