Curry fish in puff pastry

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 600 g TK-sheet pastry
  • 600 g Cod fillet
  • 2 Onions, 2 apples
  • 4 Gherkins (glass)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS butter/margarine
  • 3 TSP Curry, 30 g flour
  • 200 ml clear soup
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 package (25 g) TK-"Italian herbs"
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp some flour, 1 egg

Directions

    Defrost the dough. Wash, dry and dice the fish. Peel and chop onions. Peel, core and dice apples. Chop cucumbers

    Heat the fat. Fry apples, onions and cucumbers in it. Sprinkle with curry and flour and sweat. Stir in broth and milk. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add fish and herbs and cook for about 5 minutes, season

    Place 150 g puff pastry sheets on top of each other and roll out into 4 circles (each approx. 25 cm Ø) on a little flour. Separate the egg. Brush the edges with egg white. Spread the fish mixture over the circles. Fold the dough over and brush with egg yolk

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 15-18 minutes. Goes well with tomato salad

    Drink: cool white wine
