Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 2 Cucumbers (approx. 550 g each)
  • 1 TEASPOON Salt
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 75 g Honey
  • 300 g light cheddar cheese
  • 12 discs wholemeal sandwich bread (à approx. 45 g)
  • 4 Stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Wash, clean and peel the cucumbers. Halve cucumbers lengthwise, remove seeds with a spoon. Cut the flesh of the cucumbers into fine half rings. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and steep for about 20 minutes

    Mix butter and honey. Coarsely grate the cheese. Cut off the edges of the bread slices. Place the slices of bread next to each other on a work surface, spread a thin layer of honey-butter

    Drain cucumbers well in a sieve, then dab dry with kitchen paper. Spread cucumbers evenly on 6 slices of bread, spread cheese evenly on top. Place the remaining slices of bread on top. Press down lightly. Cut sandwiches diagonally in half

    Wash parsley, shake dry and chop finely. Sprinkle sandwich breads with parsley and serve
