Crispy horseshoes

Ingredients

Servings: 12
  • 250 g + some flour
  • 100 g Icing sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, 1 egg (size M)
  • 125 g cold butter
  • 1 (à 100 g) Btl. cake glaze (dark + lemon)
  • sugar pearls, marzipan figures and white sugar writing, baking paper

Directions

    Knead 250 g flour, icing sugar, vanillin sugar, 1 pinch of salt, egg and butter in pieces until smooth. Cover and chill for approx. 30 minutes

    cut 1 small and 1 large horseshoe template (approx. 7 x 8 cm and 11 x 22 cm)

    Roll out the dough onto some flour to a thickness of about 6 mm. Use the templates to cut out approx. 6 small and 6 large horseshoes. Put them on 2 baking trays covered with baking paper. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes. Let them cool down

    Melt glazes according to instructions. Cover horseshoes with glaze and decorate with beads etc. Allow to dry and label
