Cream noodles with peas and ham

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g Croissant noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 300 g frozen peas
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 100 g Gouda cheese
  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 30 g Flour
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp some parsley and basil leaves
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Cook the pasta in sufficient salted water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, bring peas to the boil once with 125 ml water in a closed pot and leave to stand for 2-3 minutes. Finely dice the ham. Grate cheese. Heat the fat.

    Sauté flour in it. Add vegetable stock and cream while stirring constantly and bring to the boil. Add 60 g cheese while stirring. Keep stirring until the cheese has melted. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg and lemon juice. Wash the tomatoes and dab dry. Halve 1 tomato, remove seeds. Finely dice the flesh. Cut the second tomato into slices to garnish. Mix noodles, ham, diced tomatoes and peas.
