Finely grate the cheese. Mix cream cheese and ground almonds. Form approx. 12 balls (approx. 25 g each) from the cream cheese mixture with moistened hands. Turn the balls in grated cheese.
Peel the carrot and cut lengthwise into narrow strips. Cut approx. 24 feet and 12 beaks from the carrot strips. Put one cream cheese ball on each cracker. Garnish the balls with feet, beaks and peppercorns as eyes.
