Ingredients

  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 untreated oranges
  • 6 Lump sugar
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 2 Egg Yolk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Caramelise 50 g sugar and pour into ovenproof moulds (approx. 1/8 litre capacity). Rub the orange peel with the sugar cubes. Bring milk, sugar cubes and sliced vanilla pod to the boil. Let cool off. Whisk egg yolk, eggs and remaining sugar. Stir in orange liqueur and milk, fill into the moulds and cover them with aluminium foil, pierce a few holes. Put them in the fat pan of the oven and add water about 3 cm high.

    Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 45 minutes. Let it cool down. Peel oranges thickly, removing the white inner skin. Cut the fillets out of the parting skins. Peel and slice the kiwis. Turn the flan onto plates and arrange with orange fillets and kiwi slices
