Ingredients

Servings: 16
  • 6 Plain domino stones (approx. 13 g each)
  • 150 g soft butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g crushed almonds
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 2 tablespoons (40 g each) gelled cranberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Roughly chop the dominoes. Cream fat, sugar, vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Mix flour, almonds and baking powder, alternately stir in with the milk. fold in dominoes, stir in cranberries slightly

    Put the dough into a greased and floured Savar form (24.5 cm Ø; 1 1/2 litre capacity) and smooth it down. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 30-35 minutes, remove from oven

    Leave the cake to cool in the mould for approx. 15 minutes on a cake rack, remove from the edge of the mould with a knife, turn out of the mould. Let it cool down for about 1 hour. Dust with icing sugar before serving. Cranberry cream tastes good with it
