Colorful wheat-vegetable salad with feta cheese

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g Wheat grains
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 Perennial celery
  • 1 red and yellow
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet pepper
  • 150 g Sheep's cheese
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 1 TEASPOON Whole grain mustard
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp possibly parsley leaves
  • 7-10 Tbsp to garnish

Directions

    Wash the wheat grains and soak them overnight in 3/4 litres of cold water. The next day, boil the wheat grains with the soaking water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.

    Clean and wash the celery, put some celery green aside for garnishing. Cut the celery into thin slices. Clean, wash and cut the bell peppers into small pieces. Dice cheese. Peel onions and cut into fine rings.

    Wash the chives, dab dry and cut into small rolls. Mix vinegar and mustard. Whip oil into it and season with salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients with the marinade and let it stand for 30 minutes.

    Arrange the salad on a plate and garnish with celery green and parsley leaves.
