Ingredients

  • 125 g cold butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 3 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 50 g crushed almonds
  • 50 g Coconut flake
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Coloured decor sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Gold leaf
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cut the butter into pieces. Put sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, flour, ground almonds and grated coconut in a bowl. Add the butter and work everything into a short pastry. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. Form walnut-sized balls from the dough and place them on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper.

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes. Mix icing sugar and 2 sachets of vanillin sugar. Remove cookies, let them cool down a little, roll cookies in the sugar mixture. Decorate with decorating sugar and some gold leaf
