Chopped tomato pot with white bean seeds

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 can(s) (425 ml each; extract weight: 265 g ) Italian white beans
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) peeled tomatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Stem(s) fresh thyme
  • 1 green chili pepper
  • 2 - 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Drain the beans on a sieve. Put the tomatoes on a sieve and collect the juice. Cut the tomatoes into pieces. Peel and chop the onions. Wash the thyme and pluck the leaves from the stems.

    Wash the chilli pod, cut lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut the pod into rings. Heat the oil in a pot. Sauté the minced meat in it, fry the onions briefly and season with salt and thyme (up to a teaspoon).

    Add beans, chilli, tomatoes and juice, bring to the boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with remaining thyme.
