  • 7-10 Tbsp Shashlik skewers

Directions

  1. 1

Cucumber wash, clean and roughly grate. Peel garlic, dice finely. Mix 1 garlic clove, cucumber and yoghurt. Season to taste with salt and pepper, chill. Peel and chop the onions.

  2. 2

Knead the minced meat, minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, 1 clove of garlic and half the onions, seasoning, pepper and a little salt. Form the minced meat mixture into 8 longish meatballs and put them on skewers. Heat the oil in a large pan.

  3. 3

  4. 4

Remove the skewers from the pan and keep warm. Fry the zucchini, remaining onion and herbs in the hot frying fat for approx. 2 minutes, turning. Add the tomatoes and chop them a little. Add 150 ml water, stir in broth.

  5. 5

Cook over a mild heat for about 10 minutes. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into slices of about 5 mm thickness. Fry in hot oil for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Season with salt.

  6. 6

Season tomato sauce with salt and pepper. Serve minced skewers with sauce, potatoes and tsatziki. Garnish with put aside herbs.
