Chocolate apple cake with spices

Ingredients

  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 0?$? small apples
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 20 g fresh ginger
  • 250 g soft butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cocoa powder
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Apricot Jam
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

    Chop the chocolate and melt it over a warm water bath, let it cool down lukewarm

    Peel and quarter the apples and cut out the core. Carve the apple quarters several times on the curves. Drizzle apple quarters with lemon juice. Peel ginger and grate finely

    Whip the fat, salt, sugar and vanillin sugar until creamy. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Mix flour, baking powder and cocoa and stir in alternately with the cream. Mix in chocolate, ginger, cinnamon and a little nutmeg. Fill chocolate dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø), smooth it down. Place the apple quarters on the cake with the round side facing upwards and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 45 minutes.) Take out and let cool down

    Heat the jam and pass through a sieve. Remove the cake from the oven and remove from the edge of the mould. Brush apples with jam. Let the cake cool down
