Chicken with raisins

Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Pour 4/6
  • 1 chicken (in pieces)
  • 250 g de raisins secs
  • 150 g de cacahuètes non salées
  • 1 spring onion bunch
  • 2 gousses d'ail
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 7-10 Tbsp huile d'olive
  • 7-10 Tbsp sel et poivre

    1 Peel and chop the onions, set aside 6 stalks. Brown them in an oiled casserole, 2 minutes. Add the pieces of chicken, brown them on each side.

    2 Sprinkle the ginger and cinnamon over the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper. Mix, pour 30 cl of water and crumble the stock cube. Peel and chop the garlic cloves, add them with the raisins.

    3 Cover the casserole, lower to low heat and simmer for about 40 minutes. Wash, dry and slice the reserved onion stalks. Add them to the pot, sprinkle with peanuts and serve.
