Chicken with 40 garlic cloves

Ingredients

  • 1 ready-to-cook chicken (approx. 1.25 kg)
  • 3 Garlic tubers
  • 150 ml White wine
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 5 TABLESPOONS dry sherry
  • 2 TEASPOONS dried thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 350 g Courgette
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Cut the chicken into 8 pieces, wash and pat dry. Divide garlic bulbs, except for half a bulb, into individual cloves, do not peel. Spread the chicken and whole garlic on the fat pan of the oven. Mix white wine, oil, sherry and thyme. Season with salt and cayenne pepper. Drizzle over the chicken. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes.

    Wash and clean the zucchini and cut into pieces. Wash lemon, dab dry, cut into slices. Wash tomatoes, drain. Zucchini and lemon 20 minutes, spread tomatoes 10 minutes before end of cooking time on the fat pan. Season with salt and pepper. Bread tastes good with it

    Note: The soft cloves of garlic are pressed from the skin onto slices of bread and spread on them
