Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken wings
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 300 g Carrots
  • 700 g Kohlrabi
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange juice
  • 1 Pot of basil
  • 150 g Skimmed milk yoghurt
  • 100 g liquid sour cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon and orange peel
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Wash wings and dab dry. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Place on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 25 minutes. Coat with oil after 15 minutes. In the meantime, peel and wash the carrots and kohlrabi and cut them into narrow sticks. Sauté in hot fat and add 200 millilitres of water. Season with salt, a pinch of sugar and orange juice.

    Cover and cook for twelve minutes. Cut basil into fine strips except for a few leaves for garnishing. Sprinkle on the vegetables before serving. For the sauce, stir yoghurt and sour cream until smooth. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Serve everything garnished with lemon and orange peel and basil
