Chicken filet with strawberry salsa

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g Strawberries
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 small red chillies
  • 2 TABLESPOONS dark balsamic vinegar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Chicken filets (approx. 180 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2-3 stems Basil

Directions

    Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into small cubes. Peel, halve and finely dice the onions. Rinse chillies, halve lengthwise, remove seeds, chop pods finely. Mix prepared ingredients, stir in vinegar and oil, season with salt and pepper.

    Wash the meat, dab dry and season with salt. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the meat for 8-10 minutes, turning it over and finally sprinkle it with pepper. Wash the basil, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks.

    Cut the meat into slices and arrange on plates with the salsa and garnish with basil. Roasted bread tastes good with it.
