Cherry-raspberry jam with vanilla

Ingredients

  • 500 g Raspberries
  • 750 g Sour cherries
  • 2 Vanilla beans
  • 1 package (500 g) 2:1 Extra jam sugar

Directions

    Wash glasses with hot water and let them drip off. Sort the raspberries. Wash cherries, remove stalks and stones. Weigh 500 g cherries. Score the vanilla pods lengthwise and scrape out the pulp.

    Put raspberries, cherries, jam sugar, vanilla pulp and pods in a large pot. Bring to the boil while stirring over high heat. Boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring continuously. Pour into the prepared glasses with twist-off lids.

    Turn over and let it stand on the lid for about 5 minutes.
