Fillet of beef with green pepper

Ingredients

  • 600 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 1/2 (each 200 g) Cup of whipped cream
  • 4 Beef fillet steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS dry sherry
  • 2 TABLESPOONS green pickled pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Herbs and cherry tomatoes for
  • 7-10 Tbsp Garnish

Directions

    For the gratin, peel the potatoes, slice or slice them thinly. Line a greased, with garlic rubbed out form with it flaky. Season with salt and pepper. Pour 200 g cream over it.

    Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 45 minutes. In the meantime, wash and dry fillet steaks. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the steaks on both sides.

    Fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side. Salt the meat, take it out and keep it warm. Deglaze the meat with sherry. Add green pepper and the rest of the cream, bring to the boil and reduce slightly.

    Arrange steak with sauce and gratin on plates. Garnish as desired with herbs and tomato wedges.
