Cherry-Lime Banana Jam

Ingredients

  • 600 g Cherries
  • 3 Limes
  • 3 Bananas (approx. 200 g each)
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 (25 g) Bag Gelfix Super 3:1

Directions

    Wash the cherries, drain, clean and stone them. Weigh 500 g cherry flesh. Peel limes so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut out the fillets with a sharp knife between the parting skins.

    Weigh 100 g lime meat. Peel bananas and cut into small pieces. Weigh 400 g bananas. Put cherries, bananas and limes in a pot. Mix sugar with Gelfix, then mix with the fruits.

    Bring everything to the boil over high heat, stirring continuously for at least 3 minutes, while stirring continuously. Pour jam into hot rinsed twist-off jars, close them and leave them on the lid for about 5 minutes.
