Ingredients

  • 1 glass (720 ml/ part by weight: 460 g) Sour cherries
  • 100 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Cream-flavoured pudding powder
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 1 package (75 g) Chocolate droplets
  • 200 g Apricot Jam
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

    Drain the cherries on a sieve. Cream fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Add milk. Mix flour, pudding powder and baking powder and stir in. Dust the cherries with 1-2 tablespoons of flour and turn them in. Add the chocolate drops to the dough.

    Place the dough with 2 tablespoons as a heap on a baking tray lined with baking parchment at a slight distance from each other. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200°C/ gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. In the meantime heat up the apricot jam and pass it through a sieve. Put the Americans on a cake rack and spread with jam while still warm. Let it cool down. Results in about 14 pieces
