Buffalo mozzarella with tomato ragout, Serrano ham and toast

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 50 g Shallots
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 400 g Vine tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Tequila
  • 1 package (200 g) Buffalo mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g Serrano ham

Directions

    Peel the shallots and garlic. Dice the shallots and cut the garlic into thin slices. Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Heat oil in a pan.

    Sauté shallots and garlic for about 5 minutes while turning. After 2 minutes add tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Deglaze with tequila. Remove the pan from the stove. Pluck cheese and ham in pieces.

    Fold the cheese into the tomatoes, arrange and spread the ham on top. Roasted bread tastes good with it.
