Bratwurst with kidney beans

Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Rice
  • 1/2 (approx. 200 g) Vegetable Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 fine boiled bratwursts (à approx. 125 g)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 glass (720 g) Kidney beans in mexican vegetable sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of Tabasco
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley

Directions

    Bring a good 1/2 litre of salted water to the boil, pour in rice and cook for about 20 minutes. Peel onion and garlic. Chop onion coarsely, chop garlic finely. Lightly scratch the sausages. Heat oil in a pan.

    Fry the sausages for 5-7 minutes while turning. Then take them out and keep them warm. Sauté garlic and half of the onion cubes in the frying fat. Deglaze with kidney beans and bring to the boil. Wash and chop the parsley. Drain the rice. Season beans with salt, pepper and Tabasco. Arrange on plates with sausage and rice. Sprinkle with rest of onions and parsley.
