Braised tomatoes with Cabanossi & Mozzarella

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3-4 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 kg ripe beef tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 200 g Cabanossi
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried ital. Herbs
  • 1 (150 g) Mug Mini-Mozzarella-Balls
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oregano

Directions

    Peel onions and garlic. Chop onions coarsely and garlic finely. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into large pieces

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Cut the cabanossi into thick slices and fry briefly. Take out

    Add the onions, garlic, tomatoes and herbs to the pan and fry over a high heat for about 10 minutes, so that a lot of liquid evaporates. Fold in sausage

    Drain the mozzarella balls, fold into the tomatoes and melt briefly. Season to taste with salt and pepper and garnish. Ciabatta tastes good with it
