Braised tomatoes to spicy ribs

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 6 large tomatoes (about 120 g each)
  • 75 ml Olive oil
  • 1/2 Garlic bulb
  • 1 kg Pork ribs
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Wiskey
  • 2 stem(s) Thyme
  • 1 Rosemary stalk
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 2 stem(s) flat leaf parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh herbs

Directions

    Clean, wash and halve the tomatoes. Heat olive oil. Put the tomato halves and the garlic bulb with the cut surface facing down. Braise at low heat for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, wash the ribs and pat them dry. Put them on a baking tray. Sprinkle with oil and season with salt and pepper.

    Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-30 minutes. After 10 minutes, sprinkle with wiskey and turn once. Wash herbs, chop coarsely. Carefully turn the tomatoes over. Season with salt, pepper and herbs, braise for another 15 minutes. Serve braised tomatoes and ribs garnished with fresh herbs. Serve with fresh baguette
