Braised cucumber pan with minced meat

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g Gherkins
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Instant vegetable stock
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 1 collar Dill
  • 150 g Herb cream cheese
  • 1 TEASPOON Flour

Directions

    Cucumbers clean, peel, halve lengthwise and scrape out watery seeds. Cut the cucumbers into slices. Peel and quarter onion and cut into thin slices. Heat the oil in a large pan, fry the minced meat in it until crumbly, season with salt and pepper. Add cucumber and onion, fry briefly. Add 250 ml water, bring to the boil, stir in the stock and let everything braise for about 10 minutes

    Cook rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Wash the dill, dab dry, put something aside for garnishing. Finely chop the rest. Mix cream cheese with flour, add to the pan and melt while stirring.

    Bring to the boil, mix in the dill and season with salt and pepper. Drain rice, let drain. Serve the cucumber pan with the rice. Garnish with set aside dill
