Boiled potatoes with homemade sour cream and pork steak

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g mainly waxy potatoes (e.g. Satina)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 1 big tomato
  • 500 g Edible quark (20 % fat in dry matter)
  • 200 g ripened cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 8 (à 75 g) Pork loin steaks
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salad

Directions

    Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling water for 25-30 minutes. In the meantime, peel onion and garlic and dice very finely. Wash the chives, dab dry and cut into small rolls.

    Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomato. Cut tomato into small cubes. Mix quark, sour cream, onion and garlic. Stir in chives, except for 2 tablespoons. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Wash the steaks, pat dry. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the steaks for about 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Drain potatoes, rinse with cold water and peel. Arrange potatoes with sour cream and steaks.

    Sprinkle with diced tomatoes and chives put aside. Garnish with salad.
