Wash, stalk and stone the cherries. Weigh 500 g cherries. Mix cherries and jam sugar. Bring to the boil in a saucepan, boil for at least 3 minutes. Stir the schnapps into the jam and add the chocolate drops briefly
Pour the jam into 3 clean twist-off jars and immediately close with lids. Place the jars on the lid for approx. 5 minutes, turn them over again. Store in a dark and cool place. Serve with bread and butter
