Ingredients

  • 100 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 7-10 Tbsp (size M)
  • 50 g ground hazelnuts
  • 1 Protein
  • 350 g Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp red, yellow and green food colouring
  • 1 TEASPOON Cocoa powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp brown lipstick
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Freezer bag

Directions

    Quickly work the sugar, butter in flakes, flour, egg and hazelnuts with your hands to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and put in a cool place for at least 30 minutes. Make a Santa Claus template (approx. 30 cm high, 27 cm wide). Roll out the dough on a floured work surface 3-4 mm thin. Place the template on the dough and cut it out with a sharp knife. Knead the rest of the dough, roll out again and cut out stars and fir trees.

    Place all the pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes. Leave to cool on the baking tray. In the meantime, beat the egg white and 3 tablespoons of water until stiff. Stir in icing sugar. Take off about 1/3 and put about 2 tablespoons of it into a small freezer bag. Stir the remaining white icing with a little water until spreadable. Take off another 1/3 and colour red. Divide the remaining third and colour yellow, green and brown (with cocoa). Paint Santa Claus, stars and Christmas trees with it. Cut a small corner from the freezer bag and spray the beard.

    Take off about 1/3 and put about 2 tablespoons of it into a small freezer bag. Stir the remaining white icing with a little water until spreadable. Take off another 1/3 and colour red. Divide the remaining third and colour yellow, green and brown (with cocoa). Paint Santa Claus, stars and Christmas trees with it. Cut a small corner from the freezer bag and spray the beard. Paint the outlines on the star with brown sugar writing. Let it dry
