Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g Vegetable maize (canned)
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 2 Spring onions
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 200 g strained tomatoes
  • 1 TEASPOON demerara sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 (150 g each) Beef fillet steaks
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 4 Branches of rosemary
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen yarn

Directions

  1. 1

Drain the corn. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into very fine pieces. Wash and clean the tomatoes, also dice them finely. Clean, wash and chop spring onions and chilli pepper.

  2. 2

Squeeze the lime. Peel garlic and chop finely. Mix vegetable cubes, strained tomatoes, garlic, sugar and lime juice, season with salt and pepper. Wash the meat, dab dry and bind with kitchen string.

  3. 3

Season with coarse salt and pepper. Wash the rosemary and put it under the kitchen string. Heat oil in a pan and fry the steaks on both sides. Continue cooking over medium heat for about 6 minutes, turning the steaks once.

  4. 4

Arrange the fillet steaks on plates with some salsa. Baguette bread tastes good with it.
