Beef curry in coconut sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 600 g Hoof steak
  • 2 TEASPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tin(s) (400 g) creamy coconut milk
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Aiwar (spicy-hot spice paste)
  • 450 g frozen green beans

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel garlic and chop finely. Wash basil, shake dry and chop the leaves of 3 stems finely. Cut meat into strips

    Heat the oil in portions in a coated pan. Sauté the meat in portions while turning. Add diced onion, season with salt and pepper, remove. Deglaze frying pan with stock and coconut milk. Stir in aiwar and garlic and let simmer for 5-8 minutes

    Cook the beans in boiling salted water for about 6 minutes, drain. Add the beans, meat and chopped basil to the coconut milk and simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Arrange curry and garnish with basil
