Wash and clean the beans. Cook in boiling salted water for 10-15 minutes. Cook rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Wash, clean and dice the tomatoes. Peel and finely dice onion and garlic.
Put the bean seeds in a sieve and rinse. Wash the thyme, shake dry, remove leaves from the stalks. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips. Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the meat for about 10 minutes, turning it over. After approx. 5 minutes add onion, garlic, tomatoes and bean seeds. Season to taste with salt, pepper and thyme. Drain the beans, add to the pan and fold in.
Arrange rice and bean stew on plates.
