Bavette with cocktail tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 400 g Cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Pot of basil
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sea salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 400 g Bavette noodles
  • 200 g Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes and cut into slices. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. Wash basil, shake dry and chop the leaves, except for some garnish, from the stems.

    Mix tomatoes, garlic, basil and oil and season to taste with sugar, salt and pepper. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Finely slice Parmesan cheese. Drain the pasta (do not rinse) and return it immediately to the still hot pot.

    Fold in the tomato mixture and cheese and arrange in a preheated bowl. Garnish with basil.
