Barbecue wings with sweet marshmallow potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg Sweet potatoes
  • 1 kg Chicken wings
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Salt
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 100 ml Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 ml clear honey
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 1 TABLESPOON Soy sauce
  • 1 TEASPOON Sambal Oelek
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 60 g Butter
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 40 g Raisins
  • 25 g Mini-Marshmallows
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

    Wash sweet potatoes and cook in boiling water for 30-35 minutes. Wash chicken wings, dab dry and place in a bowl. Mix oil and salt, add to the chicken wings and mix everything well. Place wings in the fat pan of the oven. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ circulating air: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 15 minutes

    Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix ketchup, honey, juice, soy sauce, garlic, sambal oelek and pepper well. Spread the chicken wings with it. Increase the oven temperature (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) and bake for another 15 minutes.

    Drain the potatoes, rinse with cold water and peel off the skin. Mash potatoes with a potato masher. Add butter, sugar and raisins and mix in. Put everything into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle with the marshmallows

    Take the wings out of the oven, turn them over and brush with the rest of the marinade. Slide onto the lower rail of the oven. Slide the potatoes over the chicken wings in the hot oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. If necessary, change the grid and tray in the last 5 minutes. Serve with a green salad
