Balsamic mushrooms

Ingredients

Servings: 9
  • 1.5 kg small mushrooms
  • 3 medium-sized onions
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Potty/bunch of thyme
  • 1 Potty/bunch Rosemary
  • 4-5 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Bay leaves
  • 100 ml Balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse sea salt

Directions

    Clean the mushrooms, wash and drain them if necessary. Peel onions and garlic. Chop the onions coarsely. Wash herbs, dab dry. Pluck thyme leaves, chop rosemary coarsely.

    Heat the oil one after the other in a large frying pan. Fry the mushrooms in 2-3 portions in the oil for about 5 minutes. Add whole mushrooms, onions, garlic, herbs and bay leaf to the pan and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

    Deglaze with vinegar and simmer briefly. Season to taste with pepper and sea salt. Ciabatta bread tastes good with it.
