Ingredients

Servings: 50
  • 500 g ground almonds with skin
  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 3 TSP ground cinnamon
  • 1 large screw-on or jar
  • 3 Protein (Gr. M)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Almond liqueur
  • 125 g Icing sugar
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

First put ground almonds into a large glass. Sift icing sugar and put it on top as a layer. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Close the jar and decorate with a pretty sign or cinnamon stick and stars as desired.

  2. 2

For the recipe, put glass contents in a bowl and mix. Add 2 egg whites and almond liqueur. Knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer.

  3. 3

Roll out the mixture in two portions on a work surface dusted with icing sugar to a thickness of about 1 cm. Cut out stars (star shape approx. 6 cm Ø) and spread on two baking trays lined with baking paper. Dip the cutters in icing sugar again and again.

  4. 4

Beat 1 egg white until stiff, gradually add 125 g icing sugar and continue beating. Thickly coat the stars with the egg white icing. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven, lower shelf (electric oven: 150 °C/ convection oven: 125 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 12-15 minutes. Let them cool down.
