Asian Chinese cabbage salad with salmon

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg Chinese cabbage
  • 1 small stick of leek
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 2-3 (approx. 250 g) Carrots
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 6-7 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Sambal Oelek
  • 400 g Salmon fillet
  • 1 tablespoon (20 g) butter/margarine
  • 50 g Radish or alfalfa sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Clean and wash the Chinese cabbage and leek. Cut cabbage into strips, leek into fine rings. Pre-cook both in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes (blanch). Quench, drain

    Peel and wash the carrots and slice or cut them into fine slices. Peel and chop the garlic. Mix with soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of water, honey and sambal. Mix the prepared salad ingredients and sauce, let stand for a while

    Wash the salmon, pat dry and cut into 8 pieces. Fry in hot fat for about 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper, take out

    In the meantime, sort out the sprouts, wash and drain. Arrange salad and salmon on a plate. Sprinkle sprouts over it. Garnish with parsley if desired.
