Apple rings with honey and almonds

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 50 g whole peeled almonds
  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS butter/margarine
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions

    Roast the almonds in a pan without fat until golden brown. Then remove them immediately so that they do not become too dark

    Wash apples thoroughly, rub dry and core them with an apple corer. Cut apples into thin slices. Or: Quarter apples, cut out the core and cut the apples into slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice, let stand briefly

    Whip the cream until stiff and allow the vanillin sugar to trickle in

    Heat the fat in a frying pan. Dab apples dry and carefully fry them for 1-2 minutes on each side

    Remove the apples and arrange on dessert plates. Spread almonds on top. Sprinkle everything with honey. Put a cream stain on each one. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving
