  • 300 g (5 slices) frozen puff pastry
  • 400 g cleaned and peeled apples
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice

Wash apples, dab dry and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice immediately

  3. 3

Cut the dough slices in half crosswise. Roll out individually to squares. Fold each corner inwards. Form round bases. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper

  4. 4

Warm the jam. Spread half thinly on the puff pastry bases. Cover with apple slices

  5. 5

Bake the Apple Taler in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown

If you don't use up all the apple thalers the same way, you can freeze them perfectly. After defrosting, bake for approx. 10 minutes at 200 °C
