Apple pizza with gorgonzola

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 2 packs (à 400 g) fresh baked pizza dough (yeast dough with olive oil; rolled out rectangularly on baking paper ready for baking; 37 x 25 cm; refrigerated shelf)
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 250 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Apples (e.g. Elstar)
  • 250 g Gorgonzola cheese
  • 5 Stem(s) Thyme

Directions

    Unroll the pizza dough on the baking parchment and roll out round as desired. Place on 2 baking trays with the baking parchment.

    Peel onion and cut or slice into thin rings. Heat oil and fry onion rings in it until transparent. Season with salt and pepper and spread on the dough. Drain mozzarella and dice.

    Also spread on the dough.

    Cut apples into thin slices and spread them on the pizza. Coarsely crumble the gorgonzola over it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 250 °C/ convection oven: 225 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) on the middle shelf for 12-14 minutes.

    Thyme roughly plucked. Remove the pizzas and serve them sprinkled with thyme.
