Peel and quarter apples, cut out the core and cut the flesh into thin slices. Drizzle apple slices with lemon juice. Mix 250 g flour and baking powder. Mix with eggs and 170 g sugar to a smooth dough. Pour the dough onto a baking tray (40 x 25 cm) lined with baking paper and distribute evenly. Place apple slices in a fan shape on the dough. Mix 1 tbsp. sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Bring 440 ml milk to the boil. Stir pudding powder, 3 tbsp. sugar and 6 tbsp. milk until smooth. Stir into the boiling milk, bring to the boil and simmer for about 1 minute. Remove from the stove.
Mix 175 g flour, 70 g sugar and almonds. Add butter in pieces and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a crumbly dough. Spread the pudding in patches on the apples. Sprinkle with crumbles. Bake the cake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 40-50 minutes. Remove and let cool on a cake rack. Cut the cake into about 15 pieces.
